Packing Services
You have several different packing options to choose from when it is time to pack up your home. These can be tailored to suit you.
It is worth noting that regardless of the service option you choose, we will use bedding bags for mattresses and padded, tailored covers for flat screen televisions, sofas and armchairs.
Owner Packing
Using your own packaging
You are more than welcome to source your own packing materials to pack up the contents of your home. If you are planning on doing this, please ensure that the materials you use are suitable for transporting heavy items and won’t collapse, and also that they close properly to allow for stacking. Basic items you will need:
- Packing boxes
- Paper
- Tape
- Marker Pen
Using Anchor Removals’ packing materials
The items previously mentioned can be supplied and delivered by Anchor Removals, along with other specific items, such as:
- Book boxes
- Layflat linen boxes
- Transit wardrobe boxes
- Bubble wrap
- Labels
We can include our packing materials within your removal quotation, or you can order them separately using our order form.
Partial Packing
It isn’t a case that either you pack everything or we pack everything, we can provide a partial packing service where both you and Anchor Removals pack a proportion of your belongings.
Typically, this option leaves Anchor Removals to pack breakable items such as, china, glassware, pictures, mirrors, and lamps, leaving you to pack the ‘less risky’ items such as, pots and pans, clothing, books, and bedding.
It’s a popular option which provides reassurance that our professional and trained removal team are responsible for packing the items that are more likely to damage during transit, but allows you to keep an element of control too.

Full Packing
