Containerised storage

The method of storage that we use at Anchor Removals is called containerised storage, which is the most secure, reliable and efficient method of storage within the removals industry.

How it works

Our team will collect your belongings and pack them directly into our purpose built wooden storage containers at your home. Whilst your goods are being packed and loaded, we will make a detailed inventory for each container. The containers are secured and then transported back to our warehouse where they are forklifted into position and logged onto our internal computer system. 

When you are in a position to accept delivery of your goods from storage, they are forklifted from our warehouse and back onto our removal vehicle(s). This method avoids the need to double handle your goods and therefore reduces the risk of damage.

Storing larger items

We fully understand that not all items will fit inside our storage containers. In this scenario, as an example, items such as ladders or large rugs would be wrapped, labelled and stored on our mezzanine floors or racking. Other items that are stored in the same way are sofas, as this avoids a situation where pressure marks appear over time.
